Paperless Everything
To help protect our nation’s forests, we have transitioned to a paperless environment in the field, eliminating door hangers and paper invoices wherever possible. This led to us investing in digital solutions like our web portal and mobile app, giving customers real-time access to information from any device, anytime, anywhere. We’ve also cut down on our paper use in the office, moving digital wherever possible. Not only do these measures allow for a more convenient and efficient workflow, but over time will potentially save thousands of pounds of paper that would otherwise wind up in a landfill!
Environmentally Friendly
Propane is one of the original “green” energy sources and was approved as an alternative fuel listed in both the Clean Air Act of 1990 and the National Energy Policy Act of 1992. Unlike many other energy sources that disturb the natural environment, propane is primarily manufactured as a bi-product of natural gas. In comparison, solid energy materials such as wood, coal and batteries can significantly impact local and regional ecosystems during extraction or production. In addition to a cleaner and greener means of production, propane produces 43% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than electricity and yields 12% less carbon dioxide, 20% less nitrous oxide, and as much as 60% less carbon monoxide when compared to gasoline.
Low-Carbon Future
Propane has a lower carbon content than gasoline or diesel fuel and is considered clean burning, helping to reduce CO2 emissions by replacing heavy carbons like coal, oil and even wood. In an effort to achieve a “net zero” environment, meaning an overall balance between emissions produced and emissions taken out of the atmosphere, propane is playing a key role now and into the future.
